Forecasting the Bruins' lineup: A position-by-position breakdown
Now that Coach Mick Cronin is done rebuilding his roster with reinforcements from the transfer portal, we can now start forecasting lineups and rotations with a clearer picture of who will be on the squad next season. With the addition of LMU two-way specialist Dominick Harris, UCLA’s guard room becomes very crowded. Because Skyy Clark, Dylan Andrews and Dominick Harris are slated to play the bulk of the minutes at both guard spots, returning sophomore Sebastian Mack faces a tough decision. Mack, a Pac-12 Conference All-Freshman selection, is a productive player but is a subpar shooter, which caused severe production and spacing issues for UCLA’s offense last season. Defensively he has a lot to work on, but his offensive aggressiveness and tough as nails approach helped the Bruins win some games last season.
